When I first read some of the prophesies about the Tribulation

January 8th, 2011

When I first read some of the prophesies about the Tribulation, my first reaction was: “Those things won’t happen in my lifetime, because there would have to be so many changes required for those things to happen.”  I was much younger then.

Lately. I have been observing lots of changes in the way people think indicating that they are much more open to changes that are occurring that would be required to set up the Tribulation period structures.

The Start of the Great Tribulation

January 31st, 2009

How will we know that the Great Tribulation has started?

This category will address that.

One sign of the start of the Great Tribulation is Israel will sign a 7 Year Treaty!

This category is for prophesies that will be fulfilled before the Tribulation

January 31st, 2009

Some passages of Scriptural prophesies will be fulfilled before the Great Tribulation.

For example: Ezekial 38 & 39 describe a war that is a major war, but obviously not the Battle of Armageddon at the end of the Great Tribulation.

What is this all about?

This blog is to foster discussion about Biblical Prophesy, especially about the Tribulation Period, which I believe will start “soon”.  I define “soon”, in this instance, as in my lifetime, which I expect to be some time in the next quarter century.

I believe that the authors of the “Left Behind” series have misinterpreted Scripture.  When I read Matthew 24 (and similar passages in Mark and Luke), I see that the plain reading of those passages has “the gathering of the elect” “after these things” (the Tribulation Period).

I have been working on a book on this subject and I plan on posting chapters here, as soon I figure out the best way of doing it.
